Student Awards and Accomplishments
Award recipients
Khalid Alam and Jonathan Morrand are 2012-2014 NSF Graduate Fellows in a science education program. They will be working in 4th and 5th grade classrooms in the Columbia area.
Geoff Christensen received an award from the Charles W. Gehrke, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund in recognition of outstanding performance as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Biochemistry 4974 during fall 2009.
Todd Byrne received an award from the Charles W. Gehrke, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund in recognition of outstanding performance as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Biochemistry 4974 during fall 2009.Shih-Ching Lo was awarded the Hogan Outstanding Dissertation Award for the 2007-08 academic year.
Mark Palmier was awarded the Gehrke Analytical Biochemistry Award for the 2007-08 academic year.
Tommi White, while a doctoral candidate in Jack Tanner's lab in 2007, was presented with the Donald K. Anderson Award for excellence as a graduate research assistant in 2007.
