Tom Guilfoyle and Doug Randall were both named Fellows of the American Society of Plant Biologists in July. This is the first time this society has had this honor and they are both in the first group of Fellows given this honor by the 5000 plus member international society.

Brenda Peculis's Lab
A manuscript from the Peculis Lab recently was accepted for publication in the Journal of Biological Chemistry. It describes data generated in part by Kristen Reynolds, an MU undergraduate biochemistry major, now starting her senior year.

Judy Wall's Lab
A paper by Dwayne Elias recently was accepted for publication, and the lab was successfully granted a user proposal from a DOE facility for free state-of-the-art proteomic work.
