For the 11-12 academic year the department is pleased to announce that a Biochemistry Faculty Fellowship has been awarded to Charlotte Phillips for her extensive service in undergraduate education particularly her exceptional and innovative efforts in Biochemistry 1090.
Our department awards “Faculty Fellowships” to deserving faculty members. These awards recognize outstanding contributions to any faculty activity, e.g., research, teaching, extension, service, graduate/undergraduate advisement, with preference for activities in which sources of financial rewards are not otherwise readily available.
Potential candidates are identified by the Promotion and Tenure Committee as part of the regular annual review process and awardees chosen by the Chair. Fellowship recipients are provided a cash stipend that is paid to the faculty member as part of the regular payroll process.
