Research Scientist Position in Biomolecular NMR

A research scientist position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Chun Tang at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Missouri-Columbia, to characterize membrane protein structure and dynamics using paramagnetic NMR. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or related field on drug screening and bioradical related research, and have eight years of postdoctoral research experience. The successful candidate should be proficient with site-directed protein mutagenesis, spin labeling, spin trapping, pulsed EPR and solid-state NMR. The candidate is also required to have extensive experience with organic synthesis and membrane protein preparation, and have multiple publications in major chemistry journals.
