Getting involved
Can’t get enough biochemistry? Venture outside the lab to make friends and explore new activities in a student organization.
Members of the undergraduate MU Biochemistry Club talk science, take field trips, hear guest speakers, network with the pros and even have parties. To join, contact Dr. Virginia Peterson at 573-882-4846.
Freshman Interest Groups give first-time freshmen the chance to live and learn with like-minded students. Connect with peers to explore fields of study such as life sciences, medicine, veterinary medicine and natural resources. For information about the biochemistry-focused FIG, contact Dr. Virginia Peterson at 573-882-4846.
CAFNR offers more than 30 different student groups for scholars to explore plant science, animal science, environmental studies and more.
Biochemistry undergraduate students also can explore the world while investigating the building blocks of life. CAFNR offers study-abroad programs on six different continents.
